Explanation on the Originator of the line.
1.Originator,
Pay it forward
This section is informational in nature and will help the Find Me Alive development team better and more accurately configure and implement your system. Please take the time to carefully and accurately fill this section out.

2.Client Specific Definitions
Survivor – Find Me Alive standard participant.
3.Promotions
Find Me Alive Standard Process Description
The promotions process is different for every client but is a standard element of the Find Me Alive system. Because of the unique nature of each Promotions process, it is critical that the CLIENT take special care to be accurate and comprehensive when providing the requirements to be implemented.
The standard processing demotes everyone to the identified base rank first, then begins processing from the lowest rank to the highest. Default processing requires each participant to meet the requirements of all previous ranks in order to proceed to the next level.
NOTE: Changes to custom programming can potentially be expensive. Take the time to verify these requirements are exactly what you need.
Requirements
-
Non-Promoting Ranks: Survivor ranks are non-promoting and non-demoting. The purchase of a specific package tier will set a survivor to the associated rank.
-
Active Status: A survivor must have enrolled in the past 12 months or have at least four (4) personally sponsored survivors within the past rolling 12-month period to be in ‘Active’ status. If an associate does not have at least four sponsorships then the system will place them in ‘Inactive’ status.
-
Deactivated Rank: CLIENT has defined a set of actions that need to be completed outside of the Find Me Alive system. If a survivor does not complete these actions, they can manually be set to the ‘Deactivated’ rank using Find Me Alive admin tools. Survivors set to the ‘Deactivated’ rank will not be eligible to earn commissions.
-
Exemption Codes: CLIENT desires to override qualification requirements on a survivor-by-survivor basis using custom fields.
4.Base Commission Qualified (BCQ)
Find Me Alive Standard Process Description (NOT Client Specific)
Base Commission Qualified (BCQ), sometimes referred to as “ACTIVE,” is a flag that indicates eligibility to earn commissions.
Requirements
-
Enrolled in the prior 12-month period, OR
-
Personally sponsored four survivors in the past 12-month period.
Implementation:
5.Genealogy
Find Me Alive Standard Process Description (NOT Client Specific)
The system’s mini-dashboard provides quick metrics summarizing current status. Because each client’s structure is unique, this requires custom programming. This process reevaluates key metrics daily, ensuring current data for leadership dashboards.
Client Specific
-
BCQ: Current status for the period
-
Active Sponsors: Total personally sponsored active survivors
-
Total Downline Members: Total count in downline
-
Current Month Sponsorships: Number of new sponsors this month
-
Rolling 12-Month Sponsorships: Total within the past 12 months
Implementation:
Custom process scheduled daily; display all values on the mini-dashboard with timestamped updates.
6.Quick Charts
Client Specific Requirements
1ABCQ (Yes/No)
2AActive Sponsor Count
3ACurrent Month Sponsor Count
4A12-Month Sponsor Count
Chart 1: Sponsor Count for Current and Past 5 Months
Implementation:
Create functions to display all values on quick cards and charts using updated data retrieval.
7.Team Productivity
Implementation:
Create functions to calculate and display KPI values in the Team Productivity Extended Report.
8.1Up Award*
CLIENT has defined a custom award that will pay out upon enrollment and when a survivor upgrades their tier.
Package Tier Payout
Survivor$100.00
Full Member$100.00
Partner$400.00
This award pays based on sponsorship structure:
-
If the new enrollee is the sponsor’s first sponsorship, the payout rolls upline.
-
If it’s their second or later, the payout goes to the direct sponsor.
Example:
Alex sponsors Ben and Chloe.
-
Ben is Alex’s first; payout moves upline.
-
Chloe is Alex’s second; Alex earns $100.
-
Ben later enrolls Fiona; Fiona is his second, so Ben earns $100.
-
Chloe enrolls John; payout moves upline, so Alex earns $100.
2nd Explanation of the Originator of the Line” and the
a. One-a. Up System
In the Find Me Alive® membership and referral structure, the Originator of the Line is the person who first establishes a referral line. This individual becomes the primary anchor for everyone who joins under that line.
b. How the One-Up Works
Whenever someone joins the Find Me Alive system through a referral line:
-
The first qualifying referral (“one-up”) from each new member in that line automatically goes upward to the Originator of the Line.
-
This continues no matter how deep the line grows.
-
Every new person who joins contributes their first qualifying referral up the chain.
c. In simple terms:
“The Originator of the Line receives the first one-up from every person who joins that line — no matter where in the line they join.”
This ensures:
-
Long-term value for the person who started the line
-
A fair structure where everyone contributes forward
-
A consistent reward for helping build the Find Me Alive network
d. Example
-
You start a line → You are the Originator
-
You refer Sarah
-
Sarah refers Mike
-
Mike refers Tina
Under the One-Up system:
-
Sarah’s first qualifying referral goes up to you
-
Mike’s first qualifying referral goes up to you
-
Tina’s first qualifying referral goes up to you
This continues indefinitely.
Attention:
To receive compensation on One-Up commissions for additional products, you must be qualified.
Being qualified means you personally purchase those same additional products during the Open Enrollment period.
If you do not purchase the products during Open Enrollment, you are not qualified, and therefore any revenue generated from those products will be retained by the company.
This ensures fairness, compliance, and equal opportunity for all members.
