1. Send a Quick Text Message.

You can send something simple like:

“Hey, I use Find Me Alive. If anything ever happens, law enforcement can access my recorded messages and important info. Just letting you know.”​ Mensaje para tus amigos y familia. Familiares (en español) “Solo quiero que sepan que estoy con Find Me Alive. Si alguna vez me pierdo o estoy en peligro, la policía puede acceder a mis mensajes grabados y a mi tarjeta de emergencia. Por favor recuerden esto en caso de una emergencia.”

2. Post a Private Message in Your Family Chat.

If you have a family group chat, copy/paste this:

“Family, I joined Find Me Alive for safety. It helps if I ever go missing or feel in danger. Please remember this in case something ever happens.”

3. Tell One Trusted Person Directly.

Choose someone close to you and say:

“I’m with Find Me Alive. If I ever go missing, let the police know so they can access my message and my emergency ID.”

4. Add It to Your Emergency Contact Info

On your phone, in your ICE (In Case of Emergency) contact, add:

“User of Find Me Alive – Law enforcement can access recorded safety messages.”

5. Carry Your Find Me Alive Card.

Tell your friends and family:

“If anything happens to me, look for my Find Me Alive card in my wallet. It has instructions and emergency info.”

6. Share a Screenshot of Your Badge or App.

Just send them a picture and say:

“This is the service I use for safety. Keep this in mind.”

7. Keep Your Family Updated.

Whenever you travel or meet new people, you can say:

“Don’t worry, I’m using Find Me Alive for safety. You’ll be the first to know if anything feels wrong.”
